We provide concrete bin blocks in Yonkers, NY, but what exactly are these concrete blocks and why are they so special? These concrete blocks are affordable, environmentally friendly blocks that are equipped with special features that allow them to be slid together and interlocked. Each block has four v-wedges, which is what allows the blocks to fit together. The top and side of each block has a protruding v-wedge while the bottom and other side have an inverted v-wedge. The ability for these blocks to interlock is a helpful feature, which can be utilized in a lot of projects. Not only are they easy to interlock, they are also easy to move around. Each block has a rebar handle loop on its top, which allows you to move the blocks around without having to use any complicated or special type of rigging equipment. We offer these blocks in two different sizes for the city of Yonkers, NY. We offer a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 6’ x 3’ x 3’ block that weighs 8,100 lbs. When it comes to the transportation of these blocks, each trailer can carry up to thirteen of the 6’ x 2’ x 2’ blocks while it can carry up to five of the 6’ x 3’ x 3’ blocks. We provide concrete bin blocks in Yonkers, NY. After you purchase the blocks, how exactly do you get them to your project after purchasing them? We offer you the choice between two different ways you can transport and receive your blocks. We offer the options of block pick up and block delivery. Although you can select whatever you would prefer, there are some requirements that will need to be met on your end of things in order for these processes to go safely and smoothly. Not to worry though, we will walk you through these requirements below and we also have our friendly, experienced team that is ready to help you with any questions or concerns you might have. Please give us a call today! We will start off by going over the requirements for the block pick up process. The first thing you will need to do is give us a call in order to schedule a date and time to come to one of our facilities and pick up your blocks. When you come to pick them up, we ask that you please bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer once they are loaded up. Our team will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, so you do not need to take care of that part of things. Well, that is all that is required for the block pick up process. We will now switch over to discussing the requirements that need to be met in order for the block delivery process to go safely and smoothly. First, you will need to make sure that you have the proper equipment that is able to safely offload the blocks from the trailer once they arrive. This equipment will need to be able to carry the weight of your blocks, as well as reach a height of 7’+. Second, you will need to have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi is able to safely enter and exit the drop off location. If your block drop off location does not have this much space available, we can drop the blocks off at another nearby location and then use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual, desired site. That is all that is required for the block delivery process as well! Again, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these requirements. Thank you!
