We provide concrete barrier blocks in Virginia. However, there is a chance you might know these blocks by a different name. Concrete blocks can have all sorts of different names, which can make it a little confusing at times. So, we created a list of narrowed-down, more common names we use within our business. Please feel free to familiarize yourself with them. If you have any block names you are more accustomed to using, please let us know and we can add them to our list as well. The concrete block names that we typically use more often include: bin blocks, barrier blocks, soldier blocks, waste blocks, ecology blocks, lego blocks, jumbo blocks, mafia blocks, interlocking v-blocks, leftover concrete bin blocks in Virginia, stackable concrete blocks, storage wall blocks, gravity wall blocks, and large concrete retaining wall blocks.
We provide bin blocks in Virginia. These blocks also go by the name “v-wedge” blocks. These v-wedge blocks earned their name from the unique way they interlock with one another. Each block has a total of four v-shaped wedges. There are two wedges that protrude out of the blocks and two, inverted wedges that carve out a v-shape. One of the protruding wedges can be found on the top of the block and the other on the side. The inverted wedges can be found on both the bottom and side of the block. These wedges enable the blocks to slide together smoothly and efficiently, making them useful for a number of different projects. These blocks come in various weights and sizes. Please contact us for more information regarding these particular, but important, details. Also, each of these blocks come equipped with a rebar handle loop, which makes moving these blocks a breeze. So, there is no need for complicated rigging equipment. If you have any questions about these blocks, please feel free to give us a call.
We provide concrete barrier blocks in Virginia, but what can you use our bin blocks in Virginia for? All kinds of projects! Our blocks have been used in projects, both large and small. Some of the more common purposes our blocks have served are in projects such as: parking lot management, general weight, storage bins, utilities security, property separation, road district storage, traffic control, fuel/propane tank protection, anchor weights for large tents, and concrete retaining walls. There are plenty of other block uses out there, so if you have any ideas or questions, please let us know! We’d love to hear from you.
So, once you have purchased your concrete blocks, how do you receive them? Well, by one of two ways: either through delivery or pick up. We will walk you through both of these processes down below. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either of them, please contact us and we’d be happy to discuss them with you. First, let’s talk through the delivery process. The first thing to note is that you must have the proper block offloading equipment in order to offload the blocks once they arrive. This bin blocks in Virginia equipment must be able to 1) reach a height of 7’+ * and 2) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks*. (*This is because, in height, the trailer is about 5’ and each block is 2’.) (*Block weights and measurements vary, so please contact us for more information regarding these details.) Next, you must have the proper amount of space in order for the delivery semi to enter and exit the area safely. An area of 47’-53’ must be available in order to do so. If this much space is not at your disposal, we can discuss dropping these blocks off at another, nearby location and proceed to use smaller machinery to transport the blocks to the actual, desired place. Now we will walk you through the pick up process. First off, you will need to give us a call. Someone from our team will gladly help you set up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. When you come to pick them up, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you; but we ask that you bring along a set of straps and/or chains in order to secure the blocks to the trailer. Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding either delivery or pick up, please contact us. Thank you.
