We provide bin blocks in Traverse City, MI. What kind of blocks are they? Well, these blocks are also known as what we call “v-wedge blocks”. These blocks are useful because their v-wedges enable them to slide together and interlock. Each block has four wedges that enable them to do this: a protruding wedge on the top and side of the block and an inverted wedge on the bottom and opposite side that form a v-shaped indent. Another thing that comes in handy about these blocks is their rebar handle loop. This loop enables you to move these blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. We offer these blocks in two different sizes for Traverse City: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to putting these blocks on a trailer, each trailer can carry either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. If you have any questions or would like more information about these blocks, please feel free to give us a call!

We provide concrete barrier blocks in Traverse City, MI. How exactly can you expect to use these blocks? Well, they can be used in all sorts of different projects and have been used all across the country. Here are some examples of the more common ways our blocks have been used: parking lot management, storage bins, concrete retaining walls, traffic control, road district material storage, property separation, utilities security, fuel/propane tank protection, anchor weights for large tents, and general weight. Now we will discuss how you can receive your blocks, either through delivery or pick up. We will explain the requirements that each of these involve. We will start with the delivery process. First off, you must have the proper equipment that will be able to offload the blocks from the trailer once they arrive. In order to properly do this, this equipment must be able to 1) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (this is because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’) and 2) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs). Next, in order for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the drop-off site, a space of 47’-53’ will be needed. If you do not have access to this much space, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another nearby location and use smaller machinery to transport the blocks to the actual, desired spot. Next we will go over the pick up requirements. First you will need to give us a call in order to set up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. Then, when you come to pick them up, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you provide us with some chains and/or straps that are able to secure the blocks down to the trailer. Thank you! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either delivery or pick up, please do not hesitate to give us a call!
