We provide concrete bin blocks and concrete lego blocks in Torrance, CA. We offer both of these block types in two different sizes for this city. For the concrete bin blocks, we offer both a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. For the concrete lego blocks, we offer both a 5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 4,750lbs and a 2.5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 2,375lbs. What makes these blocks so special anyways? Well, both of these block types are equipped with unique features that allow for them to slide together and interlock with one another. The concrete bin blocks are equipped with v-wedges. On the top and side of the block you can find a protruding v-wedge and on the bottom and other side you can find an inverted v-wedge. The concrete lego blocks are equipped with cylindrical shaped structures. You can find two cylindrical shaped protrusions on the top of the block and two indents of the same cylindrical shape on the bottom. These opposite shaped structures on each of these blocks are what allow them to fit together with blocks of the same type. Each block from both block types also have a rebar handle loop installed onto each of their tops. This loop enables you to move the blocks around without having to use any complicated or special kind of rigging equipment. The concrete lego blocks also come with an additional option of an installable, decorative face so please contact us for more details about this option. Thanks! We would love to speak with you if you have any questions or if you would like any additional information about these blocks or about us. We provide concrete bin blocks and concrete lego blocks in Torrance, CA. How exactly do you get these concrete blocks to your project site after purchasing them though? We actually offer two different methods of how these blocks can be received. We offer the option of having your blocks delivered to your project site or you are able to come pick them up from one of our facilities. You are free to choose between these two methods of how you would like to receive your blocks. Please note though that, regardless of which method you choose, we will need your help with meeting a couple of requirements. There are a couple of requirements associated with both of these processes. By meeting these requirements, you ensure that the process you choose is able to go safely and smoothly. We will explain the requirements associated with each of these processes below. We will start off with the block delivery requirements. The first requirement is having enough space for the delivery semi to safely maneuver in and out of the drop off area. For this to be possible, an open space of 47’-53’ will need to be available. If your intended drop off area does not have this much space available, do not worry! We can always drop the blocks off at another nearby area and then use smaller equipment to transport them to the actual project site. The second requirement is having the proper size of equipment that can safely offload the blocks from the trailer once they arrive on-site. To ensure that this equipment can safely offload your blocks, it must be able to safely carry the weight of your blocks (1,800-4,750lbs) and reach a height of 7 ‘+ (because, in height, the blocks are about 2’ and the trailer is about 5’). These are the only requirements for the block delivery process so we will now go over the requirements for the block pick up process. The first requirement is giving us a call. During this call, you will be able to speak with one of our team members and they can help you schedule a date and time for you to come to one of our facilities and pick up your blocks. Our team will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, so you do not need to take care of that part of things. The second requirement, however, involves you bringing along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to fasten the blocks to the trailer after they are loaded up. These are the only requirements for the block pick up process as well. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes or their requirements. We also would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding these requirements as well.
