We provide bin blocks in Tampa, FL, but what exactly are these blocks? These blocks are also what are known as “v-wedge blocks”. These v-wedge blocks earned their name because of their v-shaped structures that enable them to slide together and interlock. There is a protruding v-wedge on both the top and side of the block, while an inverted wedge can be found on both the bottom and opposite side. Each block also has a rebar handle loop on its top, which enables you to move the blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. We offer these blocks in three different sizes for the city of Tampa: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs, a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs, and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can transport either thirteen of the 6’ blocks, eighteen of the 4’ blocks, or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. If you have any questions about these blocks or would like more information about them, please feel free to give us a call!

We provide bin blocks in Tampa, FL, but how exactly do you receive your blocks after you purchase them? We offer two modes of block transportation: delivery and pick up. Both of these methods have a few different requirements that must be met on your end of things in order for them to go safely and smoothly. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will discuss these requirements with you down below, starting with delivery. First off for delivery, you must have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the area. If you do not have this much space at your disposal, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, available location and then proceed to transport the blocks to the actual site by use of smaller equipment. Next, you must have the proper block offloading equipment in order to safely and efficiently offload the blocks. In order to do this, this equipment must be able to 1) carry the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs) and 2) reach a height of 7 ‘+. This is because, in height, the blocks are 2’ and the trailer is 5’. Next we will move onto the pick up requirements. First, you will need to give us a call so that we can set up a date and time at which you can come to our facility and pick up your blocks. Second, you will need to bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you though, so no need to worry about that part. Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these methods, please feel free to let us know by giving us a call and we’d love to chat with you!
