Regardless of what other name you might know these blocks by, we provide concrete barrier blocks in OR. Concrete blocks have all kinds of different names and it can be helpful to be familiar with the names in order for block referral to be a bit less confusing. Some of the concrete block names we more commonly use within our business are: bin blocks, barrier blocks, soldier blocks, mafia blocks, lego blocks, ecology blocks, jumbo blocks, interlocking v-blocks, leftover concrete blocks, storage wall blocks, gravity wall blocks, large concrete retaining wall blocks, waste blocks, and stackable concrete blocks. However, if you are accustomed to using some other, alternative names, please let us know! We’d love to hear from you!

We provide bin blocks in OR. When we say that, what type of concrete block are we referring to? We are referring to what we call v-wedge blocks. These blocks use their v-wedge structures in order to slide together with one another. This simple fact makes these blocks useful for a number of projects, both large and small. These blocks have two sets of v-wedges: one wedge is on the top and the side of the block, while a reverse version of this wedge is on the bottom and other side. Luckily, these blocks take no special rigging equipment in order to be moved. By utilizing the rebar handle loop installed to the top of each block, moving these blocks is a breeze. It is important to note that we have these blocks available in a few different sizes and weights. Please feel free to contact us to request more information. What purpose do our blocks serve? Well, you’re in luck because you can use our blocks in so many different projects. The possibilities are endless. Our blocks have been used in projects such as: creating storage bins, managing parking lots, controlling traffic, anchoring large tents, protecting fuel and/or propane tanks, creating concrete retaining walls, separating property, securing various utilities, creating storage bins for road district materials, and creating anchor weights. If you have any ideas or questions on further concrete block uses, please give us a call!

Now, how exactly do you receive your concrete blocks once you have purchased them? We have two methods of block transport open for you to select. We offer both block delivery and block pick up. Both of these options have a few different requirements, so it will take a little effort on your end as well. We appreciate your cooperation. Let’s walk through the delivery process first. In order for delivery to go smoothly and safely, we ask a few different things. The first being, having enough space in order for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the site. In order to do this, an area of around 47’-53’ must be present. If this much space is not available in your drop off area, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and proceed to use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual site. Next, you must have the proper, on-site, block offloading equipment. In order to safely offload the blocks, this equipment must be able to withstand carrying the weight of your blocks. (Please contact us for more details regarding block weights.) Secondly, because, in height, the trailer is usually 5’ and the blocks are around 2’, your equipment must be able to reach a height of 7’+. Next up, let’s walk through the pick up process. In order to select pick up, first you must give us a call. Someone from our wonderful team will speak with you and set up a date and time for you to come pick up your blocks at our facility. We ask that during this time, you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that we can use to secure the blocks to the trailer. We will load the blocks up for you though, so no need to worry about that part. If you have any questions regarding either delivery or pick up, please give us a call.
