We provide bin blocks in Newark, NJ, but what is so special about these blocks? These blocks can be used in all sorts of projects and have a unique way of interlocking with one another: by use of their v-wedges! You can find four wedges on each block: one on the top, one on the side, and an inverted version of the wedge on the bottom and opposite side. These wedges fit together so that the blocks can interlock smoothly and simply. In addition, you do not need special rigging equipment in order to move these blocks around. You can simply use the rebar handle loop for this purpose. We offer these v-wedge blocks in four different sizes for the city of Newark: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs, a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs, a 6’ x 3’ x 3’ block that weighs 8,100 lbs, or a 3’ x 3’ x 3’ block that weighs 4,050lbs. As for transportation of these blocks, each trailer can carry either thirteen of the 6’ x 2’ x 2’ blocks, twenty-six of the 3’ x 2’ x 2’ blocks, ten of the 3’ x 3’ x 3’ blocks, or five of the 6’ x 3’ x 3’ blocks. If you have any questions or would like further information about these blocks, please feel free to let us know!

Now we will discuss how you can receive your blocks after purchasing them! We have two different block transportation methods that you can choose from: delivery or pick up. Both of these options have a few different requirements that must be met in order for them to go safely and smoothly. We will walk you through these requirements down below, starting with delivery. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes, please feel free to give us a call. We would be more than happy to help you out. Now, here are the delivery requirements: First, you must have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the block drop off site. If you do not have this much space available to you, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another nearby location and then proceed to move the blocks to the actual site using smaller equipment. Next, you must have the proper, on-site equipment that is ready and capable of offloading the blocks once they arrive. In order to offload the blocks properly, this equipment must be able to do two different things. First, it must be able to withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,800-4,700lbs). Second, it must be able to reach a height of 7’+. This is because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’. Next we will move on to the pick up requirements. First thing you will need to do is give us a call. During this call, someone from our team would be more than happy to help you set up a date and time to come to our plant to pick up your blocks. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that in order to secure them down, you provide a set of straps and/or chains that are able to help do that. Thank you! Again, have any questions or concerns? Please give us a call.
