We provide bin blocks in New Haven, CT. These blocks are also known as v-wedge blocks! We offer these v-wedge blocks in three different sizes for New Haven: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs. As for transportation of these blocks, per trailer, either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or eighteen of the 4’ blocks can be fit. So, what is so special about these blocks? What makes them worth purchasing? Well, these blocks come with their own special interlocking system made of, you guess it, v-wedges! Each block has a total of four wedges: one on the top, one on the side, and then an inverted version of the same wedge on the bottom and other side. These wedges enable the blocks to slide together smoothly, making them useful for a number of projects, both large and small. In addition, it is worth noting that you do not need any complicated rigging equipment to move these blocks, thanks to the rebar handle loop installed to the top of each block. If you have any questions regarding these blocks or any of our other products, please feel free to give us a call!

Now, what can you do with our blocks? Well, they are handy for a number of different projects and have been used all over the country in various ways, in projects both large and small. Some of these projects have included: property separation, protection of fuel/propane tanks, concrete retaining walls, managing parking lots, traffic control, storage bins, storage units for road districts, anchor weights for large tents, security of utilities, and general weight. If you have any ideas or questions regarding further concrete block usage, please feel free to let us know and we’d love to chat with you! We provide concrete barrier blocks in New Haven, CT.

How should you expect to receive your concrete blocks after purchasing? We will discuss the answer to that question in the following paragraph. First of all, the basic answer is through either delivery or pick up. We will walk you through their requirements down below. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are always ready to speak with and serve you. First, let’s talk through the block delivery procedure. First thing you will need to make sure of, is having the proper type of block offloading equipment that is capable of offloading the blocks once they arrive. In order to do this, this machinery must be able to 1) reach a height of 7 ‘+, because in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are each 2’ and 2) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (8,100-2,400lbs). Lastly, you must make sure you have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the drop off area. If you do not have access to this much space, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another available location and proceed to use smaller machinery to move the blocks back to the actual, desired location. Now, let’s talk through the pick up process. In order to set pick up into motion, you will need to give us a call. During this call, someone from our team would be happy to assist you with setting up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. When you come, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you bring along a set of straps/chains that we can use to secure the blocks down. Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding either delivery or pick up, please reach out to us! We’d love to chat.
