No Matter What You Call Concrete Blocks, We Can Get Them To You:

One thing to appreciate about concrete blocks is the character that they have. Blocks have a whole bunch of different variants, ranging from shape, size, color, texture, patterns, uses, and even names. So, here we are going to discuss different names concrete blocks can have. You may refer to them by an alternate name, but whatever you may call them, we provide concrete barrier blocks in Nashville, Tennessee. Here are some of the other block names you might hear us use within our business: mafia blocks, leftover concrete blocks, barrier blocks, lego blocks, ecology blocks, jumbo blocks, gravity wall blocks, large concrete retaining wall blocks, bin blocks, storage wall blocks, stackable concrete blocks, waste blocks, soldier blocks, and interlocking v-blocks. If you have any other concrete block name ideas in mind, please let us know and we will gladly add to our list.

So, we provide bin blocks in Nashville, TN…but what kinds do we supply? Well, we supply what we call a v-wedge block. First, we will discuss the v-wedge block. This particular v-wedge block is a great addition to a variety of projects because of its unique interlocking system. This block is equipped with a v-wedge on the top and side of the block, along with a reverse version of the wedge on the bottom and opposite side. These wedges slide together smoothly in order for the blocks to connect them to one another. In addition, these blocks have a rebar handle loop on top of the block, which makes movement of these blocks quite easy. For this v-wedge block, we have a few different sizes available: a 6’ x 3’ x 3’ block, weighing 8,100lbs and five blocks can fit per truck, a 3’ x 3’ x 3’ block, weighing 4,050lbs and ten blocks can fit per truck, and a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block, weighing 3,600lbs and thirteen block can fit per truck. These blocks also come with a rebar handle loop in order to move them.

In addition to having many names, concrete blocks have quite a few different uses as well. Plus, there is bound to always be more uses yet to be discovered. Here are some ways our concrete blocks have been used throughout the country to make a difference in even the smallest of projects: concrete retaining walls, parking lot management, anchor weights for large tents, road district material storage, utilities security, separation and/or privacy for property, fuel and/or propane tank protection, general weight, traffic control, and creation of storage bins. If you have any other ways you have used or plan to use concrete blocks, we’d love to hear your ideas to further the possibilities of our blocks.

We provide concrete barrier blocks in Nashville, TN…but how do you receive them? Well, we have two options for you to pick from: delivery or pick up. However, both have a few certain requirements that must be met in order for these processes to go quickly and smoothly. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these methods, please do not hesitate to contact us. First, we will talk about delivery. For delivery, you must have the proper, on site equipment that is ready to offload the blocks once the delivery semi arrives on site. This machinery must be able to, one, reach up to a height of 7’+ because, in height, each block is 2’-3’ and the trailer is 5’, and two, carry weights ranging from 8,100, 4,700, 4,050, or 3,600lbs, depending on which type and size of block you are receiving. In addition, in order for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the area, you must have a space of up to 47’-53’ available. If this type of space is not present, we can discuss drop off of the blocks at another close by location and we can use smaller equipment to move the blocks back to the actual, desired location. Now we will discuss pick up. In order to initiate pick up, you will need to give us a call. Someone from our team can set you up with a date and time to come visit our plant and receive your blocks. When you come, we ask that you provide us with a set of straps and/or chains so that we can secure the blocks to the trailer properly. We will load the blocks up for you, so no need to worry about that part of things. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, we can address them when you give us a call. Our number is: 833-763-1711
