We provide bin blocks in Lake Havasu City, AZ, but what exactly are these blocks? These blocks are also called v-wedge blocks. We offer these blocks in two different sizes: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. As for transportation of these blocks, each trailer can carry either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. These blocks are specially equipped to slide together and interlock with one another, which can be useful for all sorts of projects. You can find a protruding v-wedge on both the top and side of the block, while an inverted v-wedge can be found on the bottom and opposite side. Another helpful feature about these blocks are their rebar handle loops. These loops enable you to move the blocks around without the use of special rigging equipment. These blocks also have the option of having a decorative face, so please contact us for more details about this! If you have any questions or would like further information about these blocks, please do not hesitate to give us a call. 602-887-2990
So, how exactly can our blocks be used? They can be used and have been used in various projects all across the nation. Here are some examples of the more common uses for our blocks: storage bins, road district material storage, concrete retaining walls, anchor weights for large tents, parking lot management, traffic control, utilities security, property separation, fuel/propane tank protection, and general weight. There are plenty more uses for the blocks out there, so if you have any further ideas or questions, please feel free to let us know! We’d love to hear from you.
So, after you purchase your blocks, how can you receive them? We have two different ways in which your blocks can be received: either through delivery or pick up. Both of these options have a few different requirements that must be met in order for them to go safely and smoothly. We will discuss these requirements with you down below, starting with delivery. If you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these, please give us a call and we’d love to chat. Here are the delivery requirements: First off, you must have the proper type and size of block offloading equipment that can offload the blocks once they arrive. In order to do this efficiently and safely, this equipment must be able to do two things. First, because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are each 2’, this equipment must be able to reach a height of 7’+. Second, this equipment must be able to carry the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs). Lastly, for delivery, you must have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the drop off site. If you do not have access to this much space, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another available location and then move the blocks to the actual, desired spot by use of smaller equipment. Next, let’s discuss the pick up requirements. First off, you will need to give us a call so that we can help you set up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. When you come to get them, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that we can use to secure the blocks down. Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes or requirements, please give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
