We provide concrete bin blocks in Joliet, IL. We offer these blocks in two different sizes for the city of Joliet: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to the transportation of these blocks, each trailer can carry up to thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. What exactly are these blocks though? These blocks are also known as v-wedge blocks because each block has four v-wedges that allow the blocks to be slid together and interlocked. You can find a protruding v-wedge on both the top and side of the block, as well as an inverted v-wedge on both the bottom and opposite side. These opposite shaped v-wedges are what allow the blocks to fit together so smoothly. This feature can be useful for a variety of different projects! Also, on the top of each block, you can find a rebar handle loop. This loop allows you to easily move the blocks around without having to use any special or complicated rigging equipment. If you would like further information or have any questions about these blocks or our services, please give us a call today! We would be more than happy to speak with you.  815-668-0483

We provide concrete barrier blocks in Joliet, IL, but how can you use these products? Well, there are many ways that these blocks have been/can be used. We provide concrete bin blocks in Joliet, IL. Once you purchase these blocks, you can receive them in one of two ways. We offer the option of either block delivery or block pick up! Both of these processes do come with a couple of requirements that will need to be met on your end of things in order for these processes to go safely and smoothly though. However, you are able to choose whichever method you would prefer. We will go over the requirements associated with both of these processes below. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! We will start by going over the requirements for the block delivery process. First, you will need to have the proper size of equipment that is capable of offloading the blocks from the trailer once they arrive at the drop off site. To offload the blocks safely and smoothly, this equipment will need to be able to do two different things. One, it must be able to reach a height of 7 ‘+, because, in height, the blocks are about 2’ and the trailer is about 5’. Two, it must be able to carry the weight of your blocks safely (1,800-3,600lbs). Second, you will need to have enough space for the delivery semi to maneuver safely in and out of the block drop off site. An open area of 47’-53’ will need to be accessible for this purpose. However, if by chance you do not have this much space available to you, we can offload the blocks at another nearby location and then use smaller equipment to transport the blocks back to the actual, desired site. That is all that is required for the block delivery process! We will now go over the requirements associated with the block pick up process. First, you will need to give us a call in order to set up a date and time to come to one of our facilities and pick up your products. When you call, someone from our friendly team will be more than happy to help you in doing this! We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you please bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure them down to the trailer. Thank you! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding the requirements associated with these processes. Again, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
