We provide concrete bin blocks and concrete lego blocks in Iowa City, IA. We offer the concrete bin blocks in two different sizes for this city: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can carry either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. We offer the concrete lego blocks in two different sizes for the city as well: a 5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 4,700 lbs and a 2.5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 2,350 lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can carry either ten of the 5’ blocks or twenty of the 2.5’ blocks. What is so special about these blocks though? The V-wedge blocks have the ability to slide together and interlock, which can be a useful feature for a variety of projects. The bin blocks have v-wedges that allow them to do this. You can find a protruding v-wedge on both the top and side of the block while the bottom and other side have an inverted v-wedge. The lego blocks have two cylindrical protrusions and cut outs that allow them to do this. The protrusions can be found on the top of the block while the cutouts are on the bottom. The fact that both of the blocks have these features allow them to interlock with each other. These blocks also each have a rebar handle loop on each of their tops. These loops allow you to move the blocks around without having to use complicated rigging equipment! If you have any questions or would like further information about these blocks, please feel free to give us a call and we would be more than happy to chat with you! Thank you! We look forward to hearing from you.  319-576-7170

We provide concrete bin blocks and concrete lego blocks in Iowa City, IA. How do you receive these blocks after you purchase them? We offer two different modes of block receival: block delivery and block receival. You are able to select whichever method you prefer or whichever works better for you. Please take into consideration that we will need your help with a few things, regardless of which method you choose. There are a couple of requirements that must be met for both of these processes to go safely and smoothly. We will go over these requirements with you below. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know and we would be happy to chat with you. We will start by going over the requirements necessary for the delivery process. First, you will need to make sure that you have the proper type and size of block offloading equipment. In order to properly and safely offload the blocks this equipment will need to be able to reach a height of 7’+ and carry the weight of your blocks (   ). Second, you will need enough space available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the drop off site. A space of 47’-53’ will need to be accessible for this purpose. If you do not have this much space available, we have the option of offloading the blocks at another nearby location and then using smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual, desired site. That is all that is required for the delivery process so we will now move on to the pick up process requirements. First, you will need to give us a call in order to set up a date and time to come to one of our plants and pick up your blocks. When you come to pick them up, we will load them onto the trailer for you, so no need to worry about that part of things. However, we do ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer. Thank you! That is all that is required for the pick up process! Again, please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes or their requirements! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
