We provide bin blocks in Houston, TX; but you most likely will know these blocks by a different name, as there are many concrete block names out there. However, we created a list of the more commonly used block names within our business, so feel free to familiarize yourself with them: waste blocks, jumbo blocks, ecology blocks, lego blocks, bin blocks, mafia blocks, barrier blocks, soldier blocks, leftover concrete blocks, storage wall blocks, large concrete retaining wall blocks, gravity wall blocks, interlocking v-blocks, and stackable concrete blocks. The names we use are not limited to just these, so if you have a name you are more accustomed to using, please feel free to let us know and we can add it to this list!

So, what is so special about the concrete barrier blocks we supply in Houston? Well, these blocks also go by the name v-wedge blocks. These v-wedge blocks earned their name from, and are unique from the way they interlock with one another. Each of these blocks have a total of four v-wedges. There is one wedge on the top, one on the side, and then an inverted version of the wedge can be found on the bottom and opposite side. These wedges enable the blocks to slide and interlock together smoothly and easily. Another nice feature is that each block has a rebar handle loop installed onto its top. This loop provides an easy way to move these blocks around instead of using complicated rigging equipment. We provide these blocks in two different sizes for the city of Houston: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. As for transportation of these blocks, either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks can be fit per trailer. If you have any further questions regarding these blocks, please feel free to give us a call! We provide bin blocks in Houston, TX.

There are an endless amount of ways concrete blocks can be used, so if you are looking for some ideas, here are some of the more common ways our blocks have been used: concrete retaining walls, parking lot management, traffic control, general weight, fuel/propane tank protection, road district material storage, utilities security, storage bins, property separation/privacy, and anchor weights for large tents. Now, let’s discuss how you should expect to receive your blocks. You have two options of block transport you can choose from: delivery or pick up. Both of these options have a few requirements that must be met on your end of things in order for these processes to go smoothly and safely. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would love to speak with you. We will walk you through both the delivery and pick up process and requirements down below, starting with delivery: First thing you will need to have in order for delivery is the proper type and size of block offloading equipment. This equipment must be able to withstand carrying 1,800-3,600lbs, depending on the size of block you are receiving. Next, because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’, your offloading equipment must be able to reach a height of 7’+. The last requirement for delivery is having enough space for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the drop off area. A space of 47’-53’ must be available for this purpose. If you do not have this much space at your disposal, we can plan on dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and proceed to use smaller machinery to relocate the blocks to the actual project site. Next, we will talk through the block pick up process. First thing you will need to do in the pick up process is give us a call. Someone from our great team will be more than happy to set you up with a date and time to come to our plant and pick up your blocks. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that we can use to secure the blocks onto the trailer. Thank you! Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding delivery or pick up, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
