We provide concrete barrier blocks in Hagerstown, MD. So, what is so special about these blocks anyways? Well, these blocks are specially equipped with features that enable them to easily slide smoothly together. You are able to do this by utilizing their v-wedges. Each block has four of these v-wedges. One can be found on the top, one on the side, and then an inverted version of the same wedge can be found on the opposite side and bottom. In addition, each block comes with a rebar handle loop on its top, which enables you to move these blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. We offer these blocks in two different sizes for the city of Hagerstown: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. As for transporting these blocks, each trailer can carry either thirteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. If you have any further questions about these blocks, please give us a call!

So, in what ways can you expect to use our blocks? Well, our blocks can be used for a multitude of different projects, both large and small. Some of the more common ways our blocks have been utilized by people all across the nation include: storage bins, road district material storage, anchor weights for large tents, traffic control, property separation, fuel/propane tank protection, parking lot management, concrete retaining walls, utilities security, and general weight. There are plenty of other block uses out there, so if you have any other ideas or questions regarding concrete block usage, please feel free to let us know! We’d love to chat with you. 833-763-1711

Last but not least, we will discuss how you should expect to receive your blocks. There are two different options for you to choose from: delivery or pick up. We will discuss these process requirements down below. If you have any questions or concerns, once again, please give us a call! Someone from our helpful team will be ready to speak with you. We will first talk through the delivery requirements. First, you will need to make sure you have the proper amount of space necessary for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the drop off site. In order to do this safely, a space of 47’-53’ must be available. If you do not have access to this much space, however, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual, desired spot. Next, you must have the proper type of block offloading equipment that is readily equipped to offload the blocks once they arrive. In order to do this, it must be able to 1) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’) and 2) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs). Next, we will walk you through the pickup requirements. First thing you’ll need to do in order to select pick up is give us a call. Someone from our team would be happy to help set you up with a date and time to come pick up your blocks from our facility. When you come, we will load the blocks up for you, but we ask that in order to secure the blocks to the trailer, you provide a set or chains and/or straps in order to do so. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to hearing from you.
