We provide bin blocks in Greenfield, MA, but what is so special about these blocks? Well, these blocks are also known as v-wedge blocks. These v-wedge blocks are helpful for a number of different projects because they have the ability to slide together and interlock by utilizing their v-wedges. Each block has four of these helpful v-wedges. On the top and one side of the block, you can find a protruding v-wedge, while on the bottom and other side, you can find a v-wedge shape carved out of the block. These wedges are able to fit together perfectly, which means you can use them for a whole bunch of different projects. Another helpful feature about these blocks is that they have a rebar handle loop on their tops, which enable you to move these blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. We offer these v-wedge blocks in two different sizes for the city of Greenfield: a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can hold either eighteen of the 4’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. If you have any questions or would like even further information about these blocks, please feel free to give us a call and we’d love to speak with you. Thank you!

So after you purchase your blocks, how can you receive them? We have two different block transportation methods available to you: delivery or pick up. Both of these processes have a few different requirements that must be met in order for them to go safely and smoothly. We will discuss these requirements with you down below. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call and we’d love to talk with you! Now, here are the delivery requirements: First off, in order for the delivery semi to safely enter and exit the drop off area, an open space of 47’-53’ must be available. If you do not have access to this much open space, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another nearby location that does have enough space. From there, we can use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual desired spot. Next, you must have the proper block offloading equipment that is on-site and ready to offload the blocks once they arrive. In order to do this safely and efficiently, this equipment must be able to 1) carry the weight of your blocks (1,800-2,400lbs) and 2) reach a height of 7 ‘+. This second requirement is because, in height, the blocks are 2’ each and the trailer is 5’. Now let’s move on to the pick up requirements. First, you will have to give us a call. Someone from our team will be more than happy to help you set up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that are able to secure the blocks down to the trailer. Again, if you have any questions or concerns regarding either of these processes, please give us a call! Thank you!
