We provide bin blocks in Grand Rapids, MI. We offer these blocks in three different sizes for this city: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs, a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs, and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can hold either thirteen of the 6’ blocks, eighteen of the 4’ blocks, or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. What is so special about these blocks? Well, these blocks have a unique and helpful way of interlocking with one another: by v-wedges! There are four of these wedges per block: one on the top, one on the side, and an inverted version of the wedge on the bottom and opposite side. These wedges fit together so that the blocks can fit together smoothly. In addition, each block also has what is called a rebar handle loop, which enables you to move the blocks without the use of complicated rigging equipment. If you have any questions or would like more information about these blocks, please feel free to give us a call!

Now we will discuss how you can use our blocks. You can use our blocks in so many different projects, both big and small. Here are some examples of teh more common ways our blocks have been put to good use: traffic control, anchor weights for large tents, concrete retaining walls, road district storage, parking lot management, storage bins, utilities security, fuel/propane tank protection, property separation, and general weight. Their uses are not limited to just these examples though, so if you have any further ideas or questions regarding concrete block usage, please let us know by giving us a call! 833-763-1711

Lastly, we will discuss how you can receive your blocks after purchasing them! We offer either delivery or pick up of your blocks, which we will both discuss down below, starting with delivery. First off, in order to select delivery, you must have an open space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the drop off area. If you do not have this much space available though, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and then proceed to relocate the blocks to the actual site by using smaller equipment. Next, you must have the proper equipment that is capable of offloading the blocks. In order to do this, it must 1) withstand the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs) and 2) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (this is because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’). Next we will go over the pick up process. First you must give us a call in order to set up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. When you come to pick them up, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that in order to secure them down, you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that are able to do so. Thank you. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any concerns or questions about either of these processes, please give us a call and we’d love to chat.
