We provide concrete barrier blocks in Columbus, OH. But what makes these blocks so special? Well, these blocks are a great option for a number of different projects because of the unique, but helpful way that they interlock with one another: by use of v-wedges! This is why these blocks are better known as “v-wedge” blocks. These blocks have four v-wedges each: one on the top, one on the side, and an inverted version of the wedge on the bottom and opposite side. These wedges allow the blocks to slide together smoothly and efficiently. Another helpful feature these blocks have is a rebar handle loop, which can be found on the top of each block. This loop enables you to move these blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. Now, we offer these blocks in three different sizes for the city of Columbus: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs, a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs, and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can hold either thirteen of the 6’ blocks, eighteen of the 4’ blocks, or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks. These blocks also come with the option of having decorative faces on them. For more information or to ask us any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call! 380-203-2444

How can you expect to use our blocks? What are they useful for? Well, we will discuss the answer to that down below. Our blocks have been utilized in projects all over the country and we hope your project can be next. Here are some examples of the more basic ways you can use our blocks: traffic control, parking lot management, fuel/propane tank protection, concrete retaining walls, property separation, utilities security, anchor weights for large tents, storage bins, storage for road district materials, and general weight. There are plenty more block uses out there, so if you have any ideas or questions, please give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.

Lastly we will discuss how you can receive your blocks. We offer two different methods of block transportation: pickup or delivery. We will walk you through these processes and their requirements down below. If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, please give us a call and someone from our team will be more than happy to speak with you. First, let’s start with the block pickup process. First thing you will need to do is give our team a call. During this time, someone from our team will gladly help set you up with a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that we can use to secure the blocks down. Thank you! Next up, we will discuss the delivery process. First thing you will need to make sure of is that you have the proper, on-site equipment that is capable of offloading your blocks once they arrive. In order to do this, it must be able to 1) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs) and 2) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (this is because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’). Lastly, you must have a space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the area. Don’t have access to that much space? No worries. If space is a problem, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and use smaller machinery to transport the blocks to the actual site. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us!
