We provide concrete bin blocks in Columbus, GA. We offer these blocks in one size for the city of Columbus. We offer a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer can carry up to thirteen of the blocks at a time. These blocks are specially equipped to slide together, which can be useful for a variety of projects. Each of these blocks are able to be slid together smoothly because they have v-wedges. On both the top and side of these blocks you can find a protruding v-wedge while both the bottom and other side have an inverted v-wedge. These opposite shaped v-wedges are able to slide together easily and smoothly, which, again, can be a great feature for a variety of projects. These blocks also are equipped with a rebar handle loop on each of their tops. This loop allows you to move the blocks around without having to use any special or complicated rigging equipment. If you would like further information or have any questions about these blocks or our services, please give us a call. Someone from our team would be more than happy to speak with you! We provide concrete bin blocks in Columbus, GA, but how do you get these blocks to your project site after purchasing them? We offer you two different options when it comes to block receival. Please note though that whichever method you decide to choose, there are a couple of requirements that will need to be met on your end of things to ensure that these processes are able to go safely and smoothly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these requirements. If you have any questions or concerns though, please feel free to give us a call and we would love to chat with you. Now, the two options for block receival is block delivery and block pick up. We will start by going over the requirements for the block delivery process. The first thing you will need to make sure of is that the block drop off site has an open space of 47’-53’ so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the drop off site. If you do not have this much space available to you, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another nearby location and then using smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual desired site. The second thing you will need to make sure of is having the proper size and type of block offloading equipment that is capable of safely offloading the products from the trailer once that arrives. In order to safely offload the blocks, this equipment will need to be able to 1) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (because, in height, the blocks are about 5’ and the trailer is about 2’) and 2) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (3,600lbs). These are the requirements for the block delivery process so we will now move onto the block pick up process requirements. The first thing you will need to do is give us a call so that we can help you set up a date and time to come to one of our facilities and pick up your blocks. The second thing you will need to do, when you come to pick up your blocks, is bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer once they are loaded up. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you though, so you do not need to worry about that part of things. That is all that is required for the block pick up process. Again, please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns.
