We provide bin blocks in Asheville, NC, but you may know these blocks by some other names. There are many different block names out there, but we want to make it as simple as possible for you. Here are some of the more commonly used block names within our business: lego blocks, mafia blocks, ecology blocks, bin blocks, soldier blocks, barrier blocks, waste blocks, jumbo blocks, large concrete retaining wall blocks, stackable concrete blocks, storage wall blocks, gravity wall blocks, leftover concrete blocks, and interlocking v-blocks. Our block vocabulary is not limited to just these names though, so if there are any other block names you are more accustomed to, please feel free to let us know and we’d love to add those names to our list.
We provide concrete barrier blocks in Asheville, NC. These blocks are also what we call “v-wedge” blocks. These blocks are called v-wedge blocks because of the way they are equipped to interlock with one another: by use of their v-wedges! These blocks are a great option for a large variety of projects. The four v-wedges can be found on the top, bottom, and sides of each block. In addition, each block has what is called a “rebar handle loop”, which enables you to move the blocks around without the use of complicated rigging equipment. We offer these v-wedge blocks in two different sizes: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, per trailer, either eighteen of the 6’ blocks or twenty-six of the 3’ blocks can be fit. If you have any questions or would like to request further information, please give us a call! Someone from our team would be more than happy to help you out.
There are so many possibilities when it comes to usage of our blocks. Our blocks have been used in cities all over the nation, in a wide variety of projects. Some of the more common ways they have been used are in projects that include: parking lot management, utilities security, fuel/propane tank protection, property separation, anchor weights for large tents, traffic control, storage bins, material storage for road districts, concrete retaining walls, and general weight. Again, these are so many uses out there, so these projects listed above are just examples. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or ideas when it comes to block usage!
So, how do we get your blocks to you? We offer either delivery or pick up or your blocks. We will explain these process requirements down below. The requirements for either of these processes must be met in order for them to go smoothly and safely. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. First, we will discuss the pickup process. First thing you will need to do is set up a date and time to come to our plant and pick up your blocks. You can do this by giving us a call. Someone from our team would be more than happy to help you out! When you come to pick them up, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that in order to secure the blocks to the trailer, you bring with you, a set of chains and/or straps that are able to do so. Thank you! Now we will discuss the delivery process. First, you will need to have the proper, on-site equipment that is able to offload the blocks once they arrive. In order to do this safely, this equipment must be able to withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,800-3,600lbs) and reach a height of 7 ‘+. (This is because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and the blocks are 2’.). Lastly, you must have a space of 47’-53’ available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the area. If you do not have access to this much area, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and use smaller machinery to transport the blocks to the actual, desired location. If you have any questions or concerns about either of these processes, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are just one call away! 833-763-1711
