So, what type of block do we provide for Arizona? We provide what we call a v-wedge block. These blocks can be used, and are useful, in a variety of projects. This is because they are equipped with a unique interlocking system that allows the blocks to slide together smoothly and easily. How do they do this? Their v-wedges! Each block has two sets or wedges (four wedges in total). There is a wedge on the top and side of the block, along with a reverse version of the wedge on the bottom and opposite side of the block. In addition, these blocks come with a rebar handle loop on top of the block, which can be used for moving these blocks around. By attaching a chain, these blocks can be moved with ease. No special rigging equipment is required. There are a few different sizes and weights that these blocks come in, so please feel free to call us if you would like further information on these v-wedge blocks. What types of purposes do our blocks serve? All kinds! Our blocks have been used in many different states for many different reasons. There is sure to be a block that will fit the size of your needs, whether your project is a large-scale, community one or a smaller, personal one. Some of the ways you can utilize our concrete blocks are in projects such as: parking lot management, property separation, concrete retaining walls, general weight, storage bins, traffic control, fuel and/or propane tank protection, utilities security, anchor weights, and road district material storage. If you have any questions or ideas regarding further concrete block usage, please let us know. We’d love to hear from you.

Now that we’ve discussed concrete block names and uses, let’s talk about how you actually receive your blocks. We offer two modes of transport: delivery or pick up. Both of these options have a few requirements that must be met in order for them to go smoothly and safely, so please take that into consideration. First up, let’s discuss delivery. In order for delivery to go smoothly, first, you must have an open space of 47’-53’ available on your drop off site. This is because the delivery semi needs enough room to safely enter and exit the area. If this much space is not available, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another, nearby location and use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual site. Next, you must have the proper type and amount of concrete block offloading equipment. Because, in height, the trailer is 5’ and each block is about 2’, your machinery must be able to reach a height of 7’+. It must also be able to withstand carrying a certain amount of weight. This really just depends on the size and weight of the blocks being delivered. Please contact us for further information on block weights and sizes. Next, we will talk about the pickup process. First off, you will need to give us a call. During this call, we can set you up with a date and time to come to our facility and receive your blocks. We will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, so no need to worry about that part of things. However, in order to strap the blocks down onto the trailer, we ask that when you come to pick them up, you bring a set of chains and/or straps so that we are able to do that. If you have any questions regarding either delivery or pick up, please give us a call.
