How do I get the Concrete Blocks?

So, now that you pretty much know all about all of our different block types, sizes, weights, styles, uses, etc…we will talk about how you actually receive your concrete blocks. There are actually two ways we usually help you receive your supply of concrete blocks. And those ways are either by delivery or by pick up. Before selecting between those two though, first off, you’ll have to give our company a call. Someone from our brilliant and reliable team will be able to help you! Then, we will discuss where your job site is located, what blocks are currently available in that area, and give an estimate of how many concrete blocks you might need for your project. After discussing those few things for a bit, we can then move on to actually having you purchase the concrete blocks. Usually, we will just take your credit card information over the phone and have you purchase them that way. If for some reason that particular method does not work for you, we can discuss some other methods of payment. Now, let’s move on to a more detailed description of the delivery and pick up processes. Please note that whichever process you choose, there will be a few basic requirements you must complete on your end. First, let’s discuss delivery. In order to select delivery, you must have a spacious job site and  block offloading equipment. A job site that has enough room for 47-53’ flat bed tractor trailer to maneuver is quite ideal. That way, the delivery semi can safely and efficiently enter and exit the site. If for some reason, however, your job site does not have that much available space, we can discuss having the semi drop the blocks off at another, nearby available location and you use smaller equipment to transport the blocks to the actual, desired location. In regards to proper equipment, you will need machinery that is able to properly and safely offload the blocks from the trailer. In order to do that, the machinery must be able to withstand carrying quite a lot of heavy-duty weight. If you need to know the approximate weight it will need to be able to withstand holding, please ask us and we can help determine that for you. It really just depends on the type and size of block being delivered to you. The machinery must also be able to reach up to a height of at least 7’+, because, in height, the delivery trailer is usually 5’ and the blocks are 2’. These measurements may vary. So, again, if you would like more information and detail regarding these requirements, please let us know. Next up, your other option is pick up. For pick up, you will need to give us a call. Someone from our wonderful team will speak with you and help find a date and time that you can come to our facility. When you come to visit, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you, so no need to worry about that part. However, we do ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer after we load them up. If you have any questions regarding payments, block delivery or pick up, please feel free to give us a call and we would love to talk with you.
