We provide bin blocks in Augusta, ME. We offer these blocks in three different sizes for the city of Augusta: a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs, a 4’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 2,400lbs, and a 2’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,200lbs. As for the transportation of these blocks, each trailer can carry up to thirteen of the 6’ blocks, eighteen of the 4’ blocks, or thirty-six of the 2’ blocks. What makes these blocks so helpful for projects though? These blocks are specially equipped with v-wedge structures which allow you to slide the blocks together, smoothly and efficiently. Each block has four of these v-wedges. On both the top and side of the block, you can find a protruding v-wedge. On both the bottom and opposite side of the block, you can find an inverted v-wedge. These two opposite shaped v-wedges allow the blocks to slide together for a variety of projects. Each block also comes equipped with a rebar handle loop on its top, which allows you to move the blocks around without having to use complicated rigging equipment. If you have any questions or would like more information regarding these blocks, we would be more than happy to speak with you. Please feel free to give us a call today! 207-231-8551

We provide bin blocks in Augusta, ME. After you purchase your blocks, there are two options of block receival available to you, delivery or pick up. Please note that both of these options have a few different requirements that must be met in order for these processes to go safely and smoothly. We will walk you through these requirements with you below, starting with those of the delivery process. First off, you will need to make sure you have a space of 47’-53’ open and available so that the delivery semi can safely enter and exit the block drop-off site. If you do not have access to this much space, we have the option of dropping the blocks off at another nearby area and then transporting them to the actual, desired site by using smaller equipment. Next, you will need to make sure you have the proper type and size of block offloading equipment. In order to safely and smoothly offload the blocks once they arrive this equipment must be able to 1) withstand carrying the weight of your blocks (1,200-3,600lbs) and 2) reach a height of 7’+ (this is because, in height, the blocks are 2’ and the trailer is 5’). That wraps up the block delivery requirements! Now we will go over the block pick up requirements. First off, you will need to give us a call. During this call, someone from our team will be more than happy to help you out with setting up a date and time to come to our facility and pick up your blocks. When you come to get the blocks, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you. However, we do ask that you bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer. Thank you! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these process requirements. Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns regarding either delivery, pick-up, or their requirements.
