Available for the Los Angeles area, we have two different block types, each coming in different sizes. First off, we have a v-wedge block. We have a block that is 6’ x 2’ x 2’ and weighs 3,600lbs and a 3’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 1,800lbs. Thirteen of the 6’ blocks can fit per trailer while twenty-six of the 3’ blocks can fit. The v-wedge blocks earned their name because of their unique way of interlocking together: by the use of v-wedges. Each block has two sets of v-wedges; one on the top and side and a reverse version of the same wedge on the bottom and other side. These wedges enable the blocks to lock together safely and smoothly, making them a great addition to a multitude of projects. The next block we provide is a lego block. It comes in two sizes as well. A 5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 4,700lbs and a 2.5’ x 2.5’ x 2.5’ block that weighs 2,350lbs. Ten of the 5’ blocks can fit per trailer while five of the 2.5’ blocks can fit. The lego blocks have two cylindrical shapes that stick out of the top of each block, along with two holes on the bottom side of the block. Like the v-wedge block, this lego block also has a special way of interlocking with one another. In addition, both the v-wedge and lego blocks have a rebar handle loop installed onto the top of each block. This handle makes it easy and efficient to move the blocks around. No special rigging equipment is required! If you have any questions about either of these blocks or any of our other products, please give us a call! We provide concrete barrier blocks in Los Angeles, CA.

Like we mentioned before, concrete blocks have all types of different names…but they also have a lot of uses too! Our concrete blocks have been put to good use in projects and communities all over the U.S, so we thought we’d share some great examples of how you can utilize them too: protection for propane and/or fuel tanks, anchor weights, traffic control, security of utilities, concrete retaining walls, road district storage units, parking lot management, storage bins, separation of property/land, and general weight. Now that we’ve discussed block names, uses, and the particular type we provide for Los Angeles, let’s talk about block transportation. We offer two transport modes for our blocks: delivery of pick up. In order for delivery to go safely and smoothly, there are a few requirements that must be met. First off, you must have the right type of block offloading equipment on your drop off site. Your machinery must be able to reach a height of up to 7’+ because the trailer is around 5’ in height, as well as the blocks which are 2’. It must also be able to withstand carrying weights from 4,700-1,800lbs, depending on the type of block being dropped off. Lastly, for delivery, your drop off location must have an open area of 47’-53’ because the delivery semi must be able to safely enter and exit the site. If your area doesn’t have that type of space, we can discuss having the semi drop the blocks off at another nearby location and we can use smaller machinery to transport the blocks to the actual, desired spot. Next up, we will talk about pick up. In order to select the transport method of pick up, you’re going to have to start by giving us a call. Someone from our exceptional team can set you up with a date and time that works for you to come to our plant and pick up your blocks. We will do the more hefty part of loading the blocks onto the trailer for you, but we ask that you please bring along a set of straps and/or chains with you so that we can securely fasten the blocks down. If you have any questions or concerns about either of these methods, please contact us! 833-763-17110
