We provide concrete bin blocks in Reading, PA. We offer these concrete blocks in one size for this particular city. For the city of Reading, PA, we offer a 6’ x 2’ x 2’ block that weighs 3,600lbs. When it comes to transporting these blocks, each trailer is able to carry up to thirteen of these blocks at a time. What makes these blocks worth purchasing though? These blocks are uniquely equipped with v-wedges, which allow the blocks to be slid together and interlocked with one another. This feature can be utilized for a variety of different projects, both large and small sized. Each block has four v-wedges that make this ability possible. A protruding v-wedge can be found on the top and one side of the block and an inverted v-wedge can be found on the bottom and the other side of the block. The fact that these v-wedges are oppositely shaped is what allows them to be slid together so easily. These blocks also have a rebar handle loop on each of their tops. This loop allows you to move the blocks around easily and smoothly without requiring any special or complicated types of rigging equipment. We provide concrete bin blocks in Reading, PA. Once you purchase these blocks, how exactly do you get them to your project site? After purchasing your blocks, you are able to choose whether you would like the blocks delivered to your project site or come to one of our plants and pick up the blocks yourself. Although we allow you to choose whichever method you would like, there are a couple of requirements that will need to be met on your end of things in order for these processes to go safely and smoothly. We will walk you through what these requirements are below. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these requirements. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to give us a call and we would love to speak with you! We will start off by going over the requirements for the block delivery process. First, you will need to have an open space of 47’-53’ at your drop off site available so that the delivery semi is able to maneuver in and out of the space safely. If you do not have access to this much space, we can discuss dropping the blocks off at another nearby area and then using smaller equipment to transport them to the actual, desired site. Second, you will need to have the properly sized equipment that can offload the blocks from the trailer safely once they arrive. To make sure that the equipment is able to offload the blocks safely, this equipment will need to be able to 1) reach a height of 7 ‘+ (because, in height, the blocks are 2’ and the trailer is 5’) and 2) carry the weight of your blocks safely. These are the only requirements for the block delivery process so we will now switch over to discussing the requirements for the block pick up process. First, you will need to give us a call. During this call, you will be able to speak to someone from our team and set up a date and time to come to one of our plants and pick up your blocks. When you come to pick them up, we will load the blocks onto the trailer for you though so you do not need to worry about that part of things. Second, we do ask, however, that you please bring along a set of chains and/or straps that can be used to secure the blocks down to the trailer once they are loaded up. These are the only requirements for the block pick up process as well. Again, please do not hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.
